- • Serve as a Product Manager embedded with a major sports entertainment client, delivering world-class video and advertising experiences across web, mobile, and connected devices.
- • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to execute product roadmaps with quality and velocity in high-impact areas: live streaming infrastructure, video delivery pipelines, and programmatic advertising.
- • Support roadmap execution and day-to-day delivery for both Video and Ads product areas under the guidance of the Senior Product Manager (Video) and Director of Product (Ads).
- • Participate in product strategy sessions, helping identify new opportunities and define initiatives that align with client goals and technical capabilities.
- • Engage directly with vendors and system architects to understand technical tradeoffs and ensure feasible, scalable product solutions.
- • Contribute to the full product lifecycle — from discovery and problem definition to launch — gaining direct exposure to senior product and business leadership at a globally recognized sports entertainment brand.
- • Maintain regular on-site presence at the client’s office, with a minimum requirement of three days per week, while operating in a hybrid/remote-friendly model.
- • Work within Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours to ensure alignment with client teams and internal stakeholders based in the Greater Los Angeles area.
- • Translate business objectives into clear product requirements, prioritizing features based on user impact, technical feasibility, and commercial value.
- • Act as the primary product liaison between the client’s internal teams and APPLY’s delivery organization, ensuring seamless coordination and execution.
- • Stay informed on industry trends in digital video, advertising technology, and agentic customer experience (ACx) to inform product decisions and innovation.
- • Document product specifications, user stories, and success metrics to enable cross-functional alignment and measurable outcomes.
- • Balance competing priorities across multiple stakeholders while maintaining focus on delivering high-quality, timely product releases.
- • Support the scaling of video and advertising platforms to meet growing audience demands and evolving consumer behaviors in sports and entertainment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience managing digital video or advertising products in a consumer-facing, entertainment, or media environment
- • Proven ability to collaborate with engineering teams on technically complex platforms including live streaming and programmatic ad systems
- • Strong understanding of the product lifecycle from discovery to launch
- • Comfort working in a hybrid model requiring at least three days per week on-site at a client location
- • Demonstrated experience working with vendors, architects, and third-party technology partners
- • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams
