📋 Description

• Lead the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for ChatGPT Sites, a product area enabling users to create, run, and manage software-powered experiences using ChatGPT.
• Partner closely with engineering, research, design, safety, security, data, go-to-market, and customer-facing teams to build robust, scalable product experiences.
• Define product requirements for a full-stack product surface including user experience, backend capabilities, identity management, storage, reliability, permissions, and enterprise readiness.
• Work directly with engineering teams to evaluate and navigate technical tradeoffs across architecture, scalability, performance, reliability, and user experience.
• Build product capabilities that empower users to create, modify, deploy, and manage software more effectively through AI assistance.
• Translate ambiguous technical possibilities from AI research into clear product direction, measurable milestones, and success metrics.
• Represent user needs across developer experience, enterprise administration, safety, security, and usability to ensure balanced product outcomes.
• Establish quality, trust, and operational standards for AI-assisted software creation at scale, serving both individual creators and enterprise customers.
• Shape the intersection of AI agents, software development, infrastructure, and end-user experience to deliver intuitive, reliable, and trusted products.
• Develop products that help users move from idea to working software, with focus on modern development workflows, deployment pipelines, and system observability.
• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for ChatGPT Sites, from concept through launch and iteration, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define enterprise requirements including authentication, access control, compliance, and administrative tooling.
• Advocate for simplicity and accessibility in complex technical systems, making powerful AI-assisted development tools usable by broad audiences.
• Maintain deep technical fluency in backend systems, APIs, storage solutions, deployment workflows, and infrastructure to effectively lead product decisions.
• Drive product initiatives that balance consumer usability with enterprise-grade security, reliability, and scalability demands.
• Use first-principles reasoning to navigate fast-moving, ambiguous environments and prioritize initiatives with high impact on user outcomes and business growth.
• Ensure product decisions are grounded in user needs, technical constraints, and safety considerations across all stages of development.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience across product management, software engineering, technical leadership, founder/operator roles, or equivalent hands-on product-building experience.
• Software engineering background or meaningful hands-on experience building and shipping production software.
• Comfort discussing system design, APIs, authentication, storage, deployment, observability, reliability, and enterprise requirements with engineering teams.
• Strong product judgment and ability to turn technically complex systems into simple, useful user experiences.
• Experience building products for both individual users and enterprise customers.
• Excitement for developer tools, AI-assisted coding, DevOps, infrastructure, and the future of software development.
