Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the end-to-end success of Cisco’s technology portfolio at CDW, acting as the single point of accountability for revenue, margin, and market-share growth across Networking, Security, Collaboration, Data Center, and Emerging Technologies (Splunk, AI/ML, automation). You will translate Cisco’s cross-architecture vision into actionable, customer-centric strategies that position CDW as the partner of choice.
- • Develop and execute annual business plans that align Cisco’s corporate priorities with CDW’s go-to-market motion. This includes setting aggressive yet achievable sales targets, forecasting demand with 90 %+ accuracy, and defining quarterly OKRs that Sales, Marketing, Architecture, Customer Success, and Operations can rally behind.
- • Serve as the definitive subject-matter expert on Cisco solutions—maintaining deep fluency in product roadmaps, licensing models, competitive differentiators, and emerging capabilities such as AI-driven observability, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), and full-stack observability. You will distill complex technical concepts into crisp value propositions that resonate with CIOs, CISOs, and line-of-business buyers.
- • Architect and launch integrated marketing campaigns that leverage COOP, MDF, and VIP/VIR funds to maximize ROI. You will craft audience-specific messaging, select optimal mix of digital, event, and partner channels, and track funnel metrics from awareness to closed-won revenue, ensuring every marketing dollar is accountable.
- • Own SKU lifecycle management within CDW’s ERP and e-commerce systems—rationalizing part numbers, optimizing price corridors, and eliminating end-of-life SKUs to improve catalog hygiene and sales velocity. You will partner with Pricing, Supply Chain, and Cisco PDM teams to ensure margin targets are met while remaining competitive.
- • Build and nurture executive-level relationships with Cisco’s Partner Development, Engineering, and Channel Sales teams. You will negotiate quarterly business plans, secure incremental funding, and co-sell into strategic accounts, turning Cisco into an extension of CDW’s sales force.
- • Provide frontline sales enablement through playbooks, battle cards, certification roadmaps, and hands-on workshops. You will train over 500 sellers and 100 solution architects annually, arming them with the knowledge and confidence to position Cisco solutions against competitors such as HPE Aruba, Palo Alto Networks, and Microsoft Teams.
- • Analyze market intelligence, win/loss data, and customer feedback to identify whitespace opportunities. You will deliver monthly insights to senior leadership, recommending new bundles, vertical-specific offers, or consumption-based pricing models that accelerate growth.
- • Champion cross-functional initiatives that integrate Cisco solutions into broader CDW offerings—e.g., embedding ThousandEyes visibility into managed services, layering Meraki cameras into physical security assessments, or leveraging Splunk data analytics to enhance managed SOC services.
- • Drive continuous improvement by establishing KPIs for product adoption, attach rates, renewal rates, and customer NPS. You will own the post-sales feedback loop, ensuring product gaps are communicated back to Cisco and resolved through roadmap influence or custom services.
- • Mentor junior product managers and rotational associates, creating a culture of curiosity, data-driven decision making, and customer obsession that scales the Cisco Solutions practice.
