Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • As a Product Manager focused on district partnerships at MagicSchool Inc., you will own product experiences that enable school districts to successfully adopt, configure, govern, and scale the use of our generative AI platform for educators. This role is critical to translating the needs of district leaders, IT teams, curriculum administrators, and teachers into actionable product roadmap items that drive real-world impact in K–12 education.
  • • You will prioritize enterprise and district-facing features by synthesizing customer feedback, sales insights, and long-term platform strategy to ensure solutions address adoption barriers, governance needs, and usage measurement across diverse school environments.
  • • You will partner closely with engineering to design and deliver scalable, secure, and reliable product capabilities—such as admin controls, user provisioning, usage analytics, and configuration tools—that meet the technical and compliance requirements of large educational institutions.
  • • You will collaborate with Sales, Customer Experience (CX), and Partnerships teams to align product development with go-to-market strategies, ensuring enterprise features support expansion, renewal, and deep engagement within district accounts.
  • • You will define and monitor key success metrics related to district adoption, user engagement, feature usage, and educational outcomes to inform iterative improvements and roadmap decisions based on real-world usage and feedback.
  • • You will navigate complex stakeholder dynamics by balancing the often-competing priorities of IT (security, compliance), curriculum leaders (pedagogical alignment), administrators (cost, scalability), and educators (usability, time savings) to deliver cohesive, high-impact experiences that build trust and drive sustained usage.
  • • You will contribute to ongoing roadmap refinement by synthesizing qualitative insights from district conversations and quantitative signals from product analytics, ensuring the platform evolves in response to actual district needs and usage patterns.
  • • You will operate in a fast-paced, mission-driven startup environment where bias toward action, ownership, and cross-functional alignment are essential to moving initiatives forward without waiting for perfect information.
  • • You will help advance MagicSchool’s mission of making education more equitable and efficient by building the infrastructure that allows AI-powered tools to be safely and effectively deployed at scale across schools and districts worldwide.
  • • You will join a values-driven team that places educators at the center of innovation, believes in joy and magic in learning, and is committed to diversity, responsibility, and excellence in everything we build.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3+ years of product management experience with demonstrated ownership of complex, multi-user or enterprise-focused products.
  • • Strong ability to partner deeply with engineering to translate district needs into scalable, secure, and reliable product solutions.
  • • Proven track record of evaluating ambiguous problems and delivering pragmatic, high-impact product outcomes in fast-paced, startup environments.
  • • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with comfort working across technical and non-technical stakeholders including educators, IT teams, and district administrators.
  • • Bias toward action and ownership, with the ability to drive work forward independently while keeping cross-functional partners aligned.
  • • Proven ability to use qualitative and quantitative insights—such as customer feedback, usage data, and operational signals—to inform product decisions and iteration.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Unlimited time off to support work-life balance and employee well-being.
  • • Choice of employer-paid health insurance plans, with dental and vision offered at low premiums.
  • • Generous stock options vesting over 4 years for all full-time employees.
  • • 401k match and monthly wellness stipend to support financial and personal health.
  • • Flexibility to work remotely while being part of a culture built on trust, communication, and collaboration.
  • • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI technology that directly impacts educators and students, advancing equity and access in education.
