  • • Own end-to-end delivery of growth product initiatives, starting with scoped launches like landing pages and compliance-driven features, and expanding into larger initiatives as impact is demonstrated
  • • Conduct structured product walkthroughs to map user journeys, identify friction points, and build a ground-level understanding of how conversion funnels perform across the app
  • • Monitor and synthesize user feedback from app reviews, customer support channels, and research studies to translate sentiment into actionable product insights
  • • Drive bug triage and resolution in partnership with Engineering, ensuring quality issues are prioritized, tracked, and closed efficiently to maintain user trust
  • • Partner with Design and Engineering to ship high-quality user experiences that balance speed, clarity, and trust, with a focus on optimizing conversion funnels
  • • Contribute to A/B testing, funnel analysis, and experiment design — formulating hypotheses, defining metrics, and interpreting results to guide product decisions
  • • Translate ambiguous customer problems into clear product requirements, roadmaps, and prioritized initiatives backed by quantitative and qualitative data
  • • Maintain daily 3–4 hour overlap with China-based Engineering team to ensure tight coordination, alignment, and execution on product deliverables
  • • Collaborate closely with Analytics, Marketing, and senior leadership to align growth initiatives with broader business goals and user acquisition strategy
  • • Develop deep product intuition by immersing in user behavior, data patterns, and feedback loops to inform product strategy and prioritize high-impact opportunities
  • • Work directly under the VP of Growth with direct visibility to the CEO, influencing product direction in a fast-moving, high-stakes environment
  • • Build and refine experimental mindset by pressure-testing assumptions through data, iterating rapidly, and learning from both successful and failed experiments
  • • Maintain awareness of regulatory and compliance requirements affecting car insurance acquisition and ensure product changes adhere to legal standards
  • • Help scale a product used by over 5 million users, driving improvements that directly impact millions of car owners’ insurance purchasing experience
  • • Act as the primary product liaison between U.S. and China-based engineering teams, ensuring seamless communication and alignment across time zones
  • • Balance speed and rigor in execution, moving quickly without sacrificing product quality or user experience

🎯 Requirements

  • • 2–3 years of experience in management consulting (MBB or equivalent), product management, or product/business operations
  • • Willingness to flex working hours to maintain 3–4 hours of daily overlap with China business hours for engineering coordination
  • • Exceptional structured thinking and ability to break down complex problems with precision
  • • Strong data-driven mindset, comfortable forming and testing hypotheses using quantitative analysis
  • • Demonstrated ability to own product initiatives from conception through launch
  • • Strong customer empathy and ability to think in user emotions and mental models, not just metrics
