Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the product lifecycle from discovery to delivery as a Product Manager I at Allegiant Air, the ultra-low-cost carrier that connects millions of leisure travelers to destinations across North America. You will sit at the intersection of business, technology, and customer experience, translating market insights into digital features that drive revenue, reduce costs, and delight guests.
- • Partner with engineering, UX, revenue management, marketing, airport operations, and customer care to define and refine the product vision for Allegiant’s e-commerce platform, mobile app, and internal tooling. Your roadmap will balance quick-win enhancements that lift conversion with longer-term bets that modernize our tech stack and open new revenue streams.
- • Elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements using interviews, surveys, competitive analysis, and data deep-dives. Transform raw ideas into crisp user stories with clear acceptance criteria, ensuring every ticket that enters the sprint is technically feasible, measurable, and aligned to OKRs.
- • Maintain a living, breathing backlog in Jira or Azure DevOps. Sequence epics and stories based on customer value, technical dependencies, compliance mandates, and capacity forecasts. Run backlog refinement sessions that empower engineers to size work accurately and deliver on commitments.
- • Participate actively in all Agile ceremonies—sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Serve as the voice of the customer inside the scrum team, making real-time trade-off decisions and removing ambiguity before it becomes rework.
- • Validate new features through functional, regression, and A/B testing. Coordinate UAT with business stakeholders, monitor early KPIs, and iterate rapidly based on feedback. Own the go/no-go decision for each release, ensuring production stability and a seamless guest experience.
- • Track product performance using Google Analytics, Amplitude, or Mixpanel. Build dashboards that surface conversion funnels, load times, error rates, and customer satisfaction scores. Translate metrics into narratives that influence roadmap prioritization and executive investment.
- • Communicate product updates to a diverse audience—executives, airport station leaders, call-center supervisors, and external partners. Craft concise slide decks, release notes, and training materials that drive adoption and celebrate wins.
- • Champion accessibility, scalability, and security in every feature. Collaborate with InfoSec, Legal, and Compliance to ensure PCI-DSS, ADA, and DOT regulations are baked into requirements, not bolted on later.
- • Model Allegiant’s customer-first culture by flying at least twice a year on our network, experiencing the end-to-end guest journey firsthand, and bringing fresh insights back to the team.
- • Thrive in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment where priorities can shift with fuel prices, weather events, or viral social posts. Bring calm, data-driven decision-making when turbulence hits.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or equivalent experience plus a minimum of one year in project management, business analysis, or a related field
- • Demonstrated understanding of Agile methodologies and hands-on experience with backlog management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Trello
- • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable product decisions
- • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to tailor messages to technical, operational, and executive audiences
- • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- • Preferred: Experience in eCommerce, travel, aviation, or SaaS product development; Scrum Product Owner Certification (SPOC) or Agile-related training; familiarity with A/B testing and product analytics tools like Google Analytics, Amplitude, or Mixpanel
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive base salary ranging from $70,300 to $91,400 annually, commensurate with experience and impact
- • Hybrid work model based in sunny Las Vegas, NV—enjoy three days in our modern Summerlin office and two days remote, with flexibility during peak travel seasons
- • Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and life insurance starting day one, plus 401(k) with company match and profit-sharing potential
- • Free and reduced-rate standby travel across Allegiant’s entire network for you, your spouse, dependents, and parents—explore 130+ destinations on your days off
