- • Own the end-to-end product strategy for Jump’s insurance vertical, from zero to one. You will define the vision, set measurable goals, and create a 12-18 month roadmap that turns Jump into the indispensable AI layer for every insurance professional who touches client data.
- • Scope, prioritize, and ship integrations with the industry’s most-used practice-management systems (e.g., AMS360, Applied Epic, Vertafore, HawkSoft). You will translate each platform’s data model into clear API requirements, shepherd them through design and engineering sprints, and validate that the finished integration syncs notes, tasks, and client files in real time without friction.
- • Deeply understand insurance workflows—prospecting, quoting, underwriting, renewals, claims advocacy—and surface AI-powered features that eliminate repetitive admin. Examples: auto-generating coverage-gap summaries after a client call, pushing renewal reminders to the agent’s CRM, or surfacing cross-sell opportunities based on meeting transcripts.
- • Act as the voice of the insurance customer inside Jump. Run quarterly user-research panels, shadow agents on sales calls, and mine product-usage telemetry to uncover pain points. Turn those insights into experiment backlogs, A/B tests, and rapid prototypes that move core metrics like activation rate, weekly active integrations, and NPS.
- • Collaborate daily with a full-stack engineering pod (3-5 engineers), a product designer, and a customer-success lead. You will write crisp PRDs, manage Jira boards, and make fast trade-offs between scope, quality, and speed while keeping everyone aligned to the same definition of done.
- • Build and nurture external partnerships. You will negotiate technical scopes with third-party vendors, co-design go-to-market bundles, and troubleshoot edge cases in live integrations. Your credibility with partner product teams will directly influence how quickly Jump can expand its ecosystem.
- • Drive adoption and measurable impact. Work with Marketing to craft launch campaigns, with Sales to create enablement decks, and with Customer Success to run onboarding webinars. Your KPI dashboard will track integration installs, daily active usage, and revenue influenced—ultimately proving that insurance pros can’t live without Jump.
- • Champion a culture of experimentation. Whether it’s testing a new AI prompt, tweaking an onboarding flow, or piloting usage-based pricing, you will use data to decide what ships and what gets killed. You celebrate learning as much as shipping.
- • Represent the insurance vertical in company-wide strategy sessions. You’ll translate market trends (e.g., embedded insurance, generative AI compliance) into product bets that keep Jump two steps ahead of competitors and aligned with long-term company OKRs.
- • Thrive in a high-velocity, remote-first environment. We default to async updates, rapid Loom demos, and weekly retros. You’ll balance deep focus time with the transparency needed for a seed-stage startup where every decision compounds.
