Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Product Manager, Integrations at Heidi Health Pty Ltd in San Francisco, responsible for owning the integration framework and customer-facing marketplace that connects Heidi’s AI Care Partner products (Scribe, Comms, Evidence) to external clinical systems like EMRs, scheduling tools, and document stores.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include owning product strategy and roadmap for integrations, deciding which connectors to build or deprecate, serving as the central integration layer across product lines, driving migration to a new integration framework, translating complex EMR behaviors into actionable product specs, setting standards for integration reliability, aligning regional priorities into a coherent platform roadmap, collaborating with EHR partners on API changes, and expanding integrations beyond EMRs to systems like SharePoint, GDrive, and secure messaging platforms.
- • Heidi Health is a fast-growing healthtech company building an AI Care Partner to reduce administrative burden on clinicians, backed by nearly $100M in funding and powering over two million patient visits weekly across 116 countries through partnerships with leading health systems like the NHS, Beth Israel Lahey Health, and Monash Health.
- • In this role, you will gain deep expertise in healthcare interoperability standards (SMART on FHIR, HL7 v2), shape a scalable integration platform used globally, influence product direction across multiple clinical tools, develop strategic judgment in build-vs-configure trade-offs, and grow as a product leader in a mission-driven, high-impact environment where your work directly improves clinician workflows and patient care.
🎯 Requirements
- • BA/BS in a technical or analytical field (Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences or related)
- • 4+ years in product, integrations or technical roles — we care more about what you’ve shipped than years on the clock
- • Real fluency with healthcare interoperability: SMART on FHIR, HL7 v2 (ADT, ORM, ORU), FHIR resources, OAuth flows for clinical apps. This is a requirement, not a nice-to-have
- • Experience shipping platform or framework products where what you build for one customer becomes a configurable module for the next
- • Comfort making build-vs-configure trade-offs daily, and the judgment to know when a shortcut today costs three deployments tomorrow
- • The ability to hold a coherent roadmap under pressure from multiple regional teams with competing priorities
- • Diagnostic data fluency: you can read integration logs and distinguish a model problem from a framework problem from a customer-specific configuration issue
🏖️ Benefits
- • Flexible hybrid working environment, with 3 days in the office
- • A generous personal development budget of $500 per annum
- • Learn from some of the best engineers and creatives, joining a diverse team
- • Become an owner, with shares (equity) in the company, if Heidi wins, we all win
- • The rare chance to create a global impact as you immerse yourself in one of Australia’s leading healthtech startups
- • If you have an impact quickly, the opportunity to fast track your startup career!
