Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Own the full product lifecycle for Teledyne LeCroy’s power-electronics-focused oscilloscope portfolio, translating complex power-conversion challenges into market-winning solutions that help engineers validate converters, inverters, and motor drives faster and with greater confidence.
- • Drive the strategic roadmap by synthesizing voice-of-customer feedback, emerging standards (e.g., SiC/GaN switching, wide-bandgap devices, EV drivetrains, renewable-energy inverters), and competitive intelligence into prioritized feature sets that differentiate our instruments in a crowded T&M landscape.
- • Partner daily with hardware, firmware, and software engineering teams to define detailed requirements, review prototypes, and shepherd new capabilities from concept through alpha, beta, and general release—ensuring every spec delivers measurable value to power-electronics designers.
- • Craft crisp, technically credible messaging that arms global sales and distribution teams with the stories, demos, and ROI calculators they need to win design-ins at automotive OEMs, solar-inverter manufacturers, aerospace suppliers, and industrial-motor-drive companies.
- • Build and maintain a living competitive battlecard: pricing matrices, feature gap analyses, teardown reports, and benchmark data that enable account managers to position LeCroy scopes against Keysight, Tektronix, Rohde & Schwarz, and emerging entrants.
- • Develop launch assets—application notes, measurement cookbooks, hands-on workshops, trade-show demos, and online training modules—that accelerate customer adoption and shorten time-to-first-measurement for new power-analysis software options.
- • Serve as the external face of Teledyne LeCroy at IEEE APEC, PCIM, and other power-electronics conferences; present technical papers, host customer panels, and contribute to standards bodies to keep the company at the forefront of industry trends.
- • Provide front-line technical support to strategic accounts: ride along on sales calls, debug tricky measurements on-site, and capture real-world use cases that feed directly into the next product iteration.
- • Manage product P&L: set pricing strategy, forecast revenue, track gross margin, and make build-vs-buy decisions for accessories such as differential probes, current sensors, and power-analysis software packages.
- • Mentor junior product-marketing engineers and applications engineers, fostering a culture of deep technical curiosity and customer obsession across the organization.
- • Travel up to 20 %—domestically and internationally—to customer labs, manufacturing sites, and key trade events, ensuring that every roadmap decision is grounded in firsthand observation of how power electronics are designed, tested, and deployed in the field.
