📋 Description

• As a Product Manager for Prop Trading at Breakout (a Kraken-owned platform), you will own the end-to-end trading experience across Breakout Prop and Kraken Prop — web and mobile — reporting directly to the Head of Product.
• You will drive the trading experience roadmap, define best-in-class UX for professional derivatives traders, lead execution on near-term priorities, and ensure parity with top competitors like Hyperliquid.
• You will partner with engineering, risk, and API teams to translate complex trading mechanics — including A-book vs B-book, drawdown rules, and real-time data flows — into intuitive product requirements.
• You will shape the product strategy for agentic and API trading, enabling programmatic access to prop capital, and set high standards for feature completion, edge cases, and post-launch iteration.
• You will work in a lean, high-conviction, fully remote team of traders, engineers, and operators who move fast, think rigorously, and hold each other to exceptional standards.
• You will help build the best prop trading terminal in crypto, combining deep liquidity, cutting-edge technology, and world-class risk management to serve experienced traders and institutions.

🎯 Requirements

• 3-6+ years of senior product management experience, with significant ownership of a trading or execution product
• Deep understanding of derivatives trading: perps, futures, margin, leverage, order types, and risk parameters
• Proven track record shipping complex, technically demanding features end-to-end with high quality
• Ability to write detailed, unambiguous product requirements that engineers can execute without constant clarification
• Comfortable working with real-time data systems (streaming prices, live P&L, order state) and trading infrastructure (order routing, execution layers, risk engines)
• Strong trader empathy and crypto-native mindset — you understand the culture, tools, and expectations of professional traders
