📋 Description
- • The Product Manager for Sensitive Deployments will own product strategy for high-consequence use cases in government, healthcare, and other regulated environments where model capability, privacy constraints, and misuse potential demand exceptional safeguards.
- • Day to day, the role involves defining roadmaps for Integrity controls, measuring residual risk and decision quality, building agentic investigation workflows for multi-step misuse patterns, and creating deployment playbooks for sensitive contexts.
- • The Integrity team partners with Product, Policy, Safety Systems, Legal, Privacy, Security, User Operations, Government, and research teams to turn policy and threat models into enforceable product controls and review systems.
- • In this role, the individual will gain deep expertise in AI safety, responsible deployment, agentic systems, and cross-functional leadership while shaping how OpenAI ensures trustworthy AI in high-stakes applications.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience shipping complex product systems in AI, integrity, trust and safety, security, privacy, risk, government, regulated enterprise, or AI safety
- • Ability to translate ambiguous policy and threat-model questions into concrete product requirements, metrics, workflows, and tradeoff frameworks
- • Strong interest in agentic AI products and building platform-layer safety mechanisms for responsible deployment
- • Commitment to security, privacy, and responsible innovation while delivering tangible product outcomes
