- • Own the end-to-end strategy, execution, and performance of the UK Cards product with full autonomy and accountability from day one.
- • Identify and validate product opportunities through data-driven experimentation across acquisition, onboarding, engagement, and retention funnel stages.
- • Design and run A/B tests and controlled experiments to measure impact on customer behavior, conversion rates, and business metrics.
- • Define and deliver minimum viable products (MVPs) to test hypotheses before committing engineering resources, ensuring efficient use of cross-functional capacity.
- • Partner closely with engineering, data, operations, finance, and commercial teams to translate ambiguous business problems into clear, actionable product plans.
- • Drive operational efficiency by identifying manual processes and implementing automation or AI-enabled workflows using tools like Claude, Cursor, and other emerging AI platforms.
- • Enhance internal tooling and servicing workflows to improve team productivity and reduce dependency on manual interventions.
- • Support the development of AI-powered customer support systems that scale service quality without linear cost increases.
- • Collaborate across product, risk, capital markets, and customer servicing to resolve cross-functional bottlenecks and align on trade-offs between customer experience and commercial outcomes.
- • Challenge existing assumptions and conventional approaches to product design by thinking from first principles and proposing innovative alternatives.
- • Use customer insights, behavioral data, and market trends to prioritize initiatives that deliver maximum impact on key business objectives.
- • Communicate complex product decisions and progress clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and buy-in across departments.
- • Balance short-term execution with long-term product vision, continuously iterating based on feedback and performance metrics.
- • Work in a fast-paced environment where speed, pragmatism, and ownership are valued over process compliance or bureaucratic approval cycles.
- • Act as a builder who is comfortable switching between strategic planning, hands-on execution, and operational problem-solving on a daily basis.
- • Lead initiatives that directly impact Lendable’s growth in the UK credit card market, contributing to one of the fastest-growing fintech businesses in the UK.
- • Engage with emerging AI tooling to augment product development cycles, reduce time-to-market, and improve decision-making quality.
- • Take ownership of product outcomes that influence revenue, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency simultaneously.
- • Work closely with senior leadership in the Cards team to shape the future direction of a product with millions of users and significant market potential.
- • Maintain a deep understanding of consumer lending mechanics, credit card economics, and regulatory context in the UK financial ecosystem.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of experience in product, strategy, consulting, analytics, or startup environments
- • Proven experience owning and delivering product or growth initiatives end-to-end
- • Strong interest in fintech, lending, and financial technology innovation
- • Comfortable working across both strategic planning and hands-on execution
- • Experience using data confidently to drive decisions and validate hypotheses
- • Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) or strong curiosity about their application in product development
