Our innovative approach simplifies the complexities of capital markets, underwriting, compliance, and customer service, allowing our partners to focus on their core business. As a Series C company backed by prominent venture capitalists, we've secured significant funding and are poised for substantial growth. We are a diverse team of innovators with backgrounds from top tech and finance companies, united by a shared passion for enabling small business success.
  • As a Product Operations Specialist, Servicing, you will be an integral part of our operational engine, directly contributing to a positive and seamless payment experience for the thousands of small businesses that rely on Parafin's services. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth functioning of our product suite and requires a proactive, customer-obsessed approach to problem-solving.
  • You will be responsible for executing and actively contributing to the development of best-in-class processes across payments, fraud prevention, and customer servicing. Working closely with the Servicing Operations Lead, you will tackle complex challenges and find effective solutions for a large and growing merchant base.
  • This is a unique opportunity to have a significant impact in a fast-paced startup environment. You will have a direct line to management and product leadership, with a guaranteed platform to share your insights, suggestions for improvement, and innovative ideas. Your contributions will directly influence the evolution of our merchant experience, systems, processes, and product offerings.
  • Key responsibilities include the meticulous investigation and resolution of a wide range of issues related to payment processing, including the creation of alternative payment plans, effective error handling, and other critical tasks necessary to ensure complete payment collections.
  • You will provide exceptional, high-quality service to our small business owners through various communication channels, including email, SMS, and phone. A primary focus will be on debugging and efficiently resolving payment-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to their operations.
  • A crucial aspect of this role involves de-escalating challenging customer situations and expertly presenting clear, effective resolutions for complex and sensitive scenarios.
  • You will be tasked with identifying, meticulously tracking, and analyzing payment issues to maintain transparency across the servicing process and proactively work towards decreasing the rate of missing payments over time.
  • Timely and accurate provision of necessary documentation, detailed information, and supporting evidence will be essential to ensure all payment issues are thoroughly addressed and resolved.
  • Collaboration is key. You will work closely with our Customer Support and Funding teams to establish robust feedback loops and refine existing processes for enhanced customer servicing.
  • You will engage directly with management and Product Operations Managers to drive ongoing improvements in the merchant experience. This includes, but is not limited to, enhancements to our internal systems, operational processes, and core product features.
  • Operating within a dynamic startup environment, you will consistently strive for improvement in both the quality and methodology of your interactions with merchants.
  • A significant part of your role will involve critically reviewing current operational processes, providing constructive feedback for enhancement, challenging the status quo, and proactively identifying and addressing inefficiencies.
  • You will also be expected to lend your specialized expertise to support other product functions as needed, contributing to the overall success of the Product Operations team.
  • This role offers a fantastic opportunity to grow your career, make a tangible impact on the success of small businesses, and become a game-changer in the fintech servicing space.
