- • Spearhead Vultr's FedRAMP authorization journey and broader international sovereign cloud strategy.
- • Ensure Vultr's infrastructure supporting the global public sector meets customer product requirements.
- • Bridge the gap between complex federal security controls and scalable engineering execution.
- • Ensure every feature launched delights customers and adheres to strict 'High,' 'Moderate,' or 'Tailored' baselines necessary for agency adoption.
- • Identify products or programs through the FedRAMP (Joint Authorization Board or Agency) authorization process.
- • Public Sector Cloud: Identify secure scalable solutions tailored for US Federal agencies or highly regulated sovereign entities.
- • Ensure product engineering solutions align to and meet NIST SP 800-53, FIPS requirements, and the FedRAMP Continuous Monitoring (ConMon) framework.
- • Collaborate with the Program Manager Public Sector Compliance to define strategic roadmaps and support full product lifecycle.
- • Provide product architectural guidance for Vultr's public sector cloud product roadmap.
- • Public Sector Go-To-Market Strategy: Partnering with sales and marketing to support RFPs and Briefings with tailored value propositions for government customers.
- • Customer & Market Requirements Management: Prioritizing needs from government agencies and system integrators into actionable product requirement documents (PRDs).
🎯 Requirements
- • 1 to 3 years of experience specifically managing products within the FedRAMP, GovRAMP, or IL4/IL5 ecosystem.
- • Technical Proficiency: Strong familiarity with cloud security architecture, zero-trust principles, and automated compliance tooling.
- • Communication: Ability to translate 'Gov-speak' and security requirements into clear technical specifications for developers.
- • Experience as a customer advocate for features that specifically solve government pain points, such as Identity and Access Management (IAM) integrations for PIV/CAC cards or specialized storage for CJIS/ITAR data.
