- • Coordinate culturally appropriate compliance support and capacity-building assistance to Alaska Native victim service programs across Alaska.
- • Track progress and provide ongoing support to grantees implementing customized assistance plans to enhance and strengthen crime victim services.
- • Facilitate access to subject matter experts, peer-to-peer learning opportunities, and critical resources tailored to rural and remote communities.
- • Guide victim service programs on leveraging technology to deliver services in areas with limited or no broadband connectivity.
- • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with regional assistance providers, Alaska Tribal governments, Tribal consortia, village corporations, and community-based organizations.
- • Provide logistical coordination for trainings, including webinars, peer learning exchanges, and communities of practice.
- • Assist in strategic planning efforts to expand the reach and effectiveness of victim services in Alaska.
- • Identify, promote, and share culturally responsive and trauma-informed practices, resources, and approaches aligned with Alaska Native traditions and values.
- • Ensure adherence to federal grant management and compliance requirements in all program activities.
- • Maintain strong communication and collaboration with government clients, project partners, subject matter experts, and Alaska-based stakeholders.
- • Utilize MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Teams) and digital platforms for e-learning, webinar delivery, and reporting.
- • Adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment while managing multiple priorities with professionalism, judgment, and diplomacy.
- • Travel as required to support on-site activities, trainings, and community engagements across Alaska’s geographically isolated regions.
- • Apply knowledge of social science research and evidence-based programs to inform technical assistance and training initiatives.
- • Employ creative, culturally appropriate communication strategies to increase engagement and participation in training and compliance resources.
- • Engage respectfully with respected Alaska-based and national Tribal organizations to leverage expertise and expand service capacity.
- • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive program data and community information.
- • Support the implementation of federally funded victim services programs with full alignment to federal contract obligations.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree
- • Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting Alaska Native communities with victim services
- • Must reside in Alaska
- • U.S. citizenship required
- • Must obtain Public Trust security clearance prior to start date
- • Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Teams) and digital platforms
