• • Lead, mentor, and develop project management teams by instilling best practices, ensuring adherence to standardized processes, and driving continuous improvement in project delivery.
• • Oversee the full lifecycle of enterprise-level project portfolios, including planning, execution, monitoring, and formal closure across multiple complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• • Establish and maintain rigorous project management standards aligned with PMI, Agile, and other recognized frameworks, ensuring consistency and compliance across all initiatives.
• • Collaborate with cross-functional leadership teams to identify business needs, define project scope, secure clear ownership, and align project objectives with organizational transformation goals.
• • Monitor and report on key project performance metrics including schedule adherence, cycle times, lead times, and risk load to inform leadership decisions and drive accountability.
• • Guide the identification, assessment, and mitigation of high-impact project risks, facilitating timely resolution of critical issues that threaten delivery timelines or business outcomes.
• • Foster a culture of quality, speed, and agility in project delivery while ensuring alignment with Humana’s enterprise objectives and strategic priorities.
• • Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and internal policies governing project execution, data handling, and operational procedures.
• • Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, providing transparent reporting on program status, resource constraints, emerging risks, and opportunities for innovation in project delivery methods.
• • Drive organizational change by influencing without direct authority, building consensus among stakeholders, and promoting adoption of standardized project management practices across departments.
• • Utilize enterprise project management tools to track progress, manage dependencies, and ensure accurate reporting across all assigned initiatives.
• • Support the alignment of project outcomes with Humana’s broader mission to improve health outcomes for Medicare, Medicaid, and other insured populations through effective execution of technology and business transformation programs.
• • Adapt project management strategies to meet the demands of highly regulated environments, particularly those involving healthcare, insurance, data governance, and compliance-sensitive workflows.
• • Maintain awareness of emerging trends in project delivery frameworks and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase stakeholder satisfaction.
• • Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations on program health, resource allocation, and risk exposure to inform strategic decision-making at the leadership level.
• • Contribute to the development of standardized templates, governance models, and reporting dashboards that elevate the maturity of project management across the organization.
• • Participate in occasional in-person training sessions or meetings at Humana offices, as required, to ensure alignment and collaboration with central teams.
