- • Lead and manage a portfolio of strategic and operational projects, including system implementations, process transformations, and business change initiatives across Redgate Software Limited.
- • Define clear project goals, scope, and success measures in close collaboration with engineering, product, commercial, and business analysis teams.
- • Champion outcome-focused delivery methods that foster collaboration, accountability, and consistent results across cross-functional teams.
- • Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and communications with transparency and confidence to ensure alignment at all levels of the organization.
- • Act as a central point of contact for stakeholders across departments, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout project lifecycles.
- • Contribute directly to the evolution of Redgate’s Project Management Office (PMO), proposing and implementing improvements to project delivery frameworks and practices.
- • Apply change management principles to guide teams and stakeholders through organizational transformation with empathy, structure, and clear communication.
- • Work with third-party vendors and suppliers, managing contracts and ensuring deliverables meet agreed-upon standards and timelines.
- • Utilize Agile or Lean methodologies to drive efficient project execution, with flexibility to adapt approaches based on project needs and team dynamics.
- • Maintain a proactive, organized, and calm approach under pressure, consistently delivering results with a strong “get things done” mindset.
- • Operate from Redgate’s Cambridge office with a hybrid model requiring one in-office day per week, balancing remote flexibility with in-person collaboration.
- • Deliver high-impact strategic programmes that directly shape how Redgate operates and grows, contributing to the company’s mission of simplifying complex database management challenges.
- • Engage with senior leadership and technical teams to translate business objectives into actionable project plans and measurable outcomes.
- • Ensure all projects adhere to governance standards while maintaining agility to respond to evolving priorities and market demands.
- • Support the development of a culture of continuous improvement within the PMO by sharing insights, documenting best practices, and mentoring junior project staff.
- • Track and report on project progress using defined metrics, ensuring visibility into performance, bottlenecks, and success criteria for all stakeholders.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experienced project manager with a proven track record delivering technology, process, and business change projects.
- • Strong skills in project definition, planning, risk and issue management, and stakeholder engagement across technical and commercial teams.
- • Proven change management experience, with ability to guide teams through transformation using clear communication and structured approaches.
- • Experience managing vendor and contract relationships with third-party suppliers.
- • Knowledge of Agile or Lean methodologies; AgilePM, PMP, PRINCE2, or similar qualification is a plus.
- • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with all levels of the organization, from engineers to executives.
