📋 Description

• Lead client engagements end-to-end, from kickoff through delivery and closeout, using agile, scrum, or hybrid methodologies as required by each engagement
• Develop detailed project plans including scope, timelines, resources, and budget estimates fully aligned to Statement of Work (SOW) deliverables
• Manage scope against the SOW by negotiating discrepancies with clients, driving prioritization decisions, and processing change orders accurately and efficiently
• Protect engagement economics by monitoring budget burn, forecasting financials, and preventing budget overruns while maintaining delivery quality
• Own internal logistics of client engagements: track time inputs, coordinate invoicing, align resources with delivery leadership, and ensure accurate revenue reporting
• Maintain PM compliance through regular engagement health updates, weekly status reports, sprint reviews, and systematic risk and issue management
• Differentiate between risks and issues, and escalate appropriately within both the client engagement and internal NextLink structure when necessary
• Facilitate backlog creation by ensuring user stories have clear definitions, acceptance criteria, and estimated effort, and manage delivery flow using Jira reports and team rituals
• Serve as the client’s primary day-to-day point of contact for delivery, building trust through consistent communication and reliable execution
• Facilitate proactive and sometimes difficult client conversations to manage expectations, resolve tensions, and reinforce value delivery
• Focus on delivering against client business outcomes, not just SOW compliance, and collaborate with Delivery and Sales teams to identify opportunities for relationship expansion
• Observe project teams and provide timely, constructive feedback centered on client value and delivery effectiveness
• Contribute to the broader NextLink Project Management practice by developing and refining templates, improving processes, and mentoring junior PMs
• Work overlapping hours with US-based client teams to support real-time coordination and communication
• Maintain high standards of written and verbal English communication in all client and internal interactions
• Interact fluently with clients at both business and technical levels to ensure alignment between client goals and technical delivery
• Manage multiple concurrent client engagements with strong organizational discipline and attention to detail

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional project management experience, including at least 3 years in a client-facing Project Manager role
• 2+ years of experience in a consulting or professional services environment
• Experience managing software or technology engagements with delivery teams of 5 or more
• Ability to leverage multiple project management methodologies (agile, scrum, hybrid) to drive the best client experience
• Experience with budget management and forecasting on client engagements, including invoicing coordination, time tracking, and revenue accuracy
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to run multiple concurrent client engagements
