- • As a Property Field Adjuster at National General (part of The Allstate Corporation), you will investigate and confirm facts of loss for complex homeowner claims, determine coverage and damages, and negotiate settlements within your authority—playing a critical role in ensuring fair and accurate claim resolutions for customers.
- • Day to day, you will build mastered relationships with internal and external stakeholders, interpret regulatory compliance and fair claims practices, negotiate settlements, document all claim activities in complex files, apply mastery in estimating fundamentals to create detailed damage estimates using Xactimate and XactAnalysis, and assist leadership in formal and ad hoc training as a peer mentor.
- • You will join the Connecticut Claims team, supporting a national insurance provider with a legacy dating back to 1939, offering home, auto, accident, health, and specialty niche insurance products through independent agents and direct-to-consumer channels, all backed by The Allstate Corporation’s innovative drive and financial strength.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in property claims handling, become a trusted technical resource, mentor peers, and achieve mastery in complex estimating and negotiation—positioning yourself for advancement within a leading national insurance organization committed to employee growth and impact.

- • Proven experience handling a wide range of homeowner claims
- • Proficiency in Xactimate and XactAnalysis for writing detailed damage estimates
- • Residency in Connecticut or near the New York or Massachusetts border
