📋 Description

• We are seeking a Property Tax Advisor to help us navigate the complex Florida property tax appeals process.
• As a Property Tax Advisor, you will be responsible for reviewing our product, flagging potential issues, and providing guidance on how to improve it.
• You will need to have a deep understanding of the Florida Value Adjustment Board process, including the 25-day filing window, partial-payment requirements, and county-level differences.
• You will also need to be procedurally sharp, with a thorough understanding of the appeals process and the ability to identify potential issues.
• We are looking for someone with 5+ years of direct, hands-on experience filing residential property tax appeals in Florida.
• You should have personal experience filing or arguing petitions before a Florida VAB, or adjudicating them as a special magistrate.
• You should also be able to describe the differences between various counties in Florida, such as Broward and Hillsborough.
• This is a contract position, with a variable schedule of 5-10 hours per week.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for regulatory grounding, county-level reality, filing mechanics, and hearings and evidence.
• You will need to be able to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• You should be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• You should also be able to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
• We are looking for someone who is passionate about property tax appeals and has a strong understanding of the Florida VAB process.
• You should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• You should also be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of direct, hands-on Florida experience filing residential property tax appeals.
• Personal experience filing or arguing petitions before a Florida VAB, or adjudicating them as a special magistrate.
• No active conflict: not currently advising another company building consumer property tax appeal software.
• Florida-based strongly preferred, given county-level familiarity requirements.
