📋 Description

• Write compelling, well-structured grant applications and funding proposals to secure financial support for Promise Robotics’ mission-driven initiatives in automated construction.
• Translate complex technical information from engineering, AI, and robotics teams into clear, persuasive narratives tailored to funders, government agencies, and institutional investors.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering, finance, and leadership teams to gather accurate data, project milestones, and impact metrics for proposal content.
• Manage end-to-end proposal timelines, ensuring all submissions meet strict deadlines for federal, provincial, and private grant programs.
• Research and identify new funding opportunities, including public innovation grants, sustainability incentives, and clean technology funding streams relevant to robotic construction.
• Maintain a centralized repository of proposal templates, past submissions, feedback, and approval workflows to improve efficiency and consistency across applications.
• Ensure all proposals align with organizational goals, compliance requirements, and the specific evaluation criteria of each funding body.
• Edit and proofread all written materials to uphold a professional tone, grammatical precision, and brand consistency.
• Support the development of strategic submissions beyond grants, including partnership pitches, investor decks, and regulatory documentation requiring persuasive writing.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining alignment with leadership’s strategic priorities and communication style.
• Contribute to the growth of Promise Robotics by helping secure funding that directly enables the development and deployment of robotic systems for sustainable building construction.
• Adapt writing style to suit diverse audiences, including government reviewers, nonprofit foundations, and private venture capital evaluators.
• Track outcomes of submitted proposals and document lessons learned to continuously improve future submission success rates.
• Participate in internal review sessions to refine proposal content with technical and financial stakeholders.
• Stay informed about trends in construction technology, sustainability policy, and government funding landscapes in Canada and North America.
• Coordinate with external consultants or proposal specialists when needed to strengthen submission quality.
• Ensure all documentation adheres to organizational data governance and confidentiality standards.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience writing successful grant applications or funding proposals in a technology or manufacturing environment
• Exceptional written communication skills with ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines across competing priorities
• Experience collaborating with engineering, operations, or R&D teams to extract key project details for proposals
• Familiarity with Canadian government grant programs (e.g., IRAP, SR&ED, Clean Growth Program) is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and proposal management tools
