- • Join Prospera AI, a well-funded startup at an exciting inflection point, as a Full-Stack Engineer with a strong frontend focus. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of Sophie, our innovative multi-agent AI orchestrator designed to revolutionize how wealth management advisors serve their clients. Sophie analyzes behavioral patterns, communication preferences, and emotional states to provide advisors with deeper insights, enabling more personalized and effective client interactions. Our technology is proven, our customers love the product, and now we are scaling our engineering team to meet growing demand.
- • In this role, you will be instrumental in transforming Sophie’s user interface, making its complex and powerful AI capabilities feel simple, intuitive, and actionable for wealth management advisors. This position is approximately 70% frontend development and 30% backend/integration work. Your primary focus will be on building and refining the user interface, but you will also be responsible for connecting APIs, making occasional modifications to backend logic, and actively contributing to product development decisions. We require a versatile engineer who can fluidly navigate across the full stack, as pure frontend specialization is not practical at our current stage of growth.
- • Your core responsibilities will revolve around owning the advisor experience. This includes building and continuously refining the central dashboard where advisors interact with Sophie. You will design and implement intuitive conversation views, insightful client analysis panels, and clear recommendation displays. A key objective is to translate complex AI outputs into easily understandable and actionable information, empowering advisors to leverage Sophie's insights effectively during client interactions.
- • A significant part of your role will involve building a dynamic, streaming UI. You will implement real-time streaming response displays, ensuring that advisors receive information as it becomes available. This also entails creating thoughtful loading states and employing progressive disclosure techniques to manage user perception and engagement. You will help users understand the AI's ongoing processes rather than simply having them wait for results, enhancing the overall user experience and transparency.
- • You will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining robust design systems. This involves creating consistent, reusable component patterns that ensure a cohesive look and feel across the entire platform. You will document and maintain a component library that significantly accelerates development velocity for the entire engineering team. Ensuring that new features seamlessly integrate with the existing product and adhere to established design principles will be a critical aspect of your work.
- • Performance optimization is another key area of focus. You will ensure fast load times and smooth, responsive interactions within the application. A crucial aspect of this role is handling edge cases gracefully, as advisors will be using Sophie during client calls where performance and reliability are paramount. You will focus on perceived performance, ensuring that the application feels fast and responsive to the user, in addition to optimizing actual performance metrics.
- • You will contribute to product decisions, bringing your unique perspective as an engineer who deeply understands the user interface and interaction design. Your ability to anticipate user needs and translate them into technical requirements will be highly valued. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on a product that is already making waves in the wealth management industry, working with a passionate and dedicated team committed to innovation and excellence.
- • We are looking for an engineer who possesses strong UX intuition, noticing and addressing even minor friction points in user flows. You should exhibit pragmatic perfectionism, understanding the balance between achieving a polished product and meeting delivery timelines. Clear communication skills are essential, enabling you to articulate technical constraints and solutions in business-friendly terms. A collaborative mindset is a must, recognizing that frontend development is an integral part of a larger, interconnected system.
- • This role is not a pure design position; you will implement designs and contribute to their refinement, but not create them from scratch. It is also not a backend-heavy role, despite the full-stack title, with the emphasis firmly on the frontend. You will be responsible for deployment and debugging but will not be managing infrastructure, as this is not a DevOps role. Finally, it’s not a role for a pure pixel-pusher; we value engineers who think critically about UX and contribute to the overall product strategy, not just execute mockups.
