- • As a Protective Security Officer II at USAA, you will provide armed response to emergency incidents involving workplace violence, active shooters, medical emergencies, and access control violations to protect the workforce and campus.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring alarms and surveillance systems, controlling access for employees and visitors, conducting facility patrols, enforcing parking and traffic rules, documenting incidents, and participating in training drills and after-action reviews.

- • In this role, you will develop expertise in physical security operations, emergency response, access control systems, and defensive tactics while maintaining required certifications and contributing to team safety and readiness.
🎯 Requirements
- • High School Diploma, GED, or applicable trade/technical school diploma
- • 1 or more years of physical security, law enforcement, or military combat arms experience
- • Ability to operate computer programs for access control, camera systems, alarm annunciation, radio dispatch, and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- • Valid state driver’s license
- • Must pass MMPI evaluation and complete USAA’s Protective Security training standards within 3 attempts
- • Obtain required state armed security license/certification within 6 months of hire
