- • Fort Health is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Provider Credentialing Specialist to join our growing team. This pivotal role is responsible for the comprehensive management and execution of provider credentialing workflows, ensuring a seamless and efficient process across multiple states and for various payers. You will serve as the primary day-to-day point of coordination, bridging the gap between our valuable clinicians, external payers, sophisticated credentialing platforms, and our internal operational teams. Your mission will be to guarantee that all credentialing applications are submitted accurately, diligently followed up on, and brought to successful completion without any unnecessary delays, thereby enabling our clinicians to begin providing patient care as quickly as possible.
- • As a key support to the RCM & Credentialing Manager, you will be instrumental in executing established credentialing processes, meticulously managing follow-up activities, and proactively escalating any exceptions or complex cases that require higher-level attention. This position is ideally suited for an individual who thrives in a structured work environment, possesses a strong commitment to consistent follow-through, and takes immense pride in owning tasks from their inception to their final resolution. Your ability to navigate the intricacies of the credentialing landscape will directly impact our practice's ability to expand its reach and serve more patients.
- • Key Responsibilities will include:
- • Managing the entire credentialing lifecycle for our diverse group of clinicians, ensuring compliance and accuracy across multiple states and payer networks.
- • Diligently tracking the credentialing status for each provider, meticulously noting progress by provider, payer, and state within our centralized credentialing system.
- • Accurately submitting and rigorously following up on all payer credentialing applications, with a primary focus on commercial payers.
- • Proactively coordinating with clinicians to gather and submit all necessary documentation, including but not limited to, professional licenses, updated attestations, and CAQH ProView information.
- • Performing regular and systematic outreach to payers and other credentialing entities to confirm application status, address any queries, and proactively resolve potential issues before they cause significant delays.
- • Identifying, documenting, and escalating any potential blockers, bottlenecks, or delays in the credentialing process to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
- • Maintaining exceptionally clear and organized documentation for each credentialing workstream, including detailed timelines, correspondence, and status updates.
- • Providing regular, concise, and informative status updates to internal stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment across teams.
- • Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of our credentialing processes by suggesting innovative ideas for standardization and efficiency as the practice scales and evolves.
- • This role is more than just administrative; it's about enabling access to care. Credentialing is recognized as one of the most significant levers for expanding patient access, driving practice growth, and maximizing revenue. By ensuring our clinicians are credentialed efficiently and effectively, you will play a direct and vital part in getting them onboarded and ready to provide care, significantly reducing onboarding delays and directly supporting our mission of delivering exceptional patient care. Your work will have a tangible impact on our ability to serve the community and grow our practice.
- • We are looking for an individual who is not only organized and detail-oriented but also possesses a proactive and tenacious approach to problem-solving. If you are comfortable managing complex workflows, communicating effectively with various stakeholders, and taking ownership of critical processes, we encourage you to apply. This is an excellent opportunity to make a significant contribution to a mission-driven organization in the rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.
