- • As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) at Third Space Therapy LLC, you will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing care to Medicaid-covered individuals, playing a vital role in expanding access to behavioral health services in underserved communities.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include conducting virtual psychiatric assessments, prescribing and managing psychotropic medications, monitoring treatment progress, collaborating with therapists and other providers, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation—all supported by the company’s administrative team handling scheduling, billing, insurance, and credentialing.
- • Third Space Therapy LLC combines the autonomy of private practice with the infrastructure and support of a group practice, specifically designed to increase Medicaid access to mental health care through a telehealth-first model backed by a strong referral network and operational support.
- • In this role, you will deepen your clinical expertise in managing complex psychiatric conditions across diverse populations, strengthen your ability to work within multidisciplinary care teams, and gain experience delivering equitable, patient-centered mental health care to Medicaid beneficiaries—all while enjoying professional flexibility and administrative relief.
🎯 Requirements
- • Active, unrestricted PMHNP license in good standing in New York
- • National board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
- • Prescriptive authority and active DEA registration
- • Experience providing psychiatric evaluations and prescribing psychotropic medications
- • Experience working with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and digital tools
- • Fluency in English; Spanish proficiency preferred
