📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for patients presenting with mental illnesses including major depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, anxiety disorders, and co-morbid substance misuse.
• Diagnose psychiatric conditions and develop, implement, and monitor personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that integrate biological, psychological, social, and existential factors.
• Prescribe and manage pharmacological regimens, closely monitoring medication effectiveness, side effects, and patient preferences to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Deliver and supervise interventional treatments including IV Ketamine and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), adhering to established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Refer patients to Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP) and specialized psychotherapies such as CBT, DBT, and PET as clinically indicated, coordinating care with the network of affiliated therapists.
• Provide supportive therapy to individuals, couples, families, or groups using evidence-based approaches, while recognizing when to refer to specialized psychotherapists.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, psychologists, and therapists to ensure comprehensive, coordinated patient care and optimize treatment effectiveness.
• Order and interpret medical work-ups including laboratory tests, diagnostic imaging, and specialty consultations to fully integrate physical and mental health assessments.
• Supervise and mentor Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), with protected time allocated for teaching and clinical supervision; develop structured collaboration frameworks with APPs.
• Utilize a state-of-the-art Electronic Health Record system featuring AI-assisted note writing and integrated psychological instrument assessments to ensure measurement-driven, data-informed care.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient records in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development through clinical mentorship, research opportunities, and collaboration with renowned clinical leaders and peers.
• Operate within a clinician-centric model where administrative, operational, and business functions are managed by support staff, enabling focus on patient care.
• Engage with Hightop Health’s integrative psychiatry framework that combines traditional treatments with novel interventions such as Esketamine (Spravato) and IV Ketamine to treat the whole person.
• Contribute to a culture of collaboration, professional growth, and clinician well-being designed to maximize patient outcomes through provider satisfaction and retention.

🎯 Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Successfully completed an accredited four-year psychiatry residency training program
• In-depth knowledge of psychiatric disorders and treatment modalities including TMS, Spravato, ketamine, and IOP
• Ability to conduct supportive therapy and make appropriate referrals to specialized psychotherapists
• Proficient in using Electronic Health Records with AI-assisted features and measurement-driven care tools
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills for working with interdisciplinary teams
