- • Provide evidence-based psychiatric care through live 60-minute video intake appointments and regular follow-up sessions as a contracted provider with Lyra Clinical Associates.
- • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to assess patient needs, diagnose mental health conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- • Manage medication regimens for patients with psychiatric disorders, including prescribing, adjusting, and monitoring pharmacological interventions.
- • Deliver culturally-responsive mental health care to individuals from diverse backgrounds, ensuring treatment plans account for cultural, social, and experiential factors.
- • Collaborate within Lyra’s integrated provider network to refer patients to evidence-based therapy and coaching services in coordination with medication management.
- • Utilize Lyra Empower, the AI-powered platform, to streamline scheduling, documentation, and patient matching while minimizing administrative burdens.
- • Engage in ongoing clinical consultation and training opportunities provided by Lyra to enhance clinical skills and stay current with best practices in mental health care.
- • Maintain compliance with all clinical, legal, and ethical standards for psychiatric practice in the state of New Jersey and under Lyra’s provider protocols.
- • Serve a broad patient population with varying mental health needs, abilities, and lived experiences, prioritizing accessibility and patient-centered outcomes.
- • Operate as an independent contractor, managing your own caseload while benefiting from Lyra’s technology infrastructure, administrative support, and provider network.
- • Deliver care that aligns with Lyra’s mission of improving access, clinical effectiveness, and cost efficiency in mental health services.
- • Participate in a network of providers committed to whole-person and whole-family mental health care, fostering integrated, holistic treatment approaches.
- • Ensure timely documentation and adherence to Lyra’s clinical workflows and platform requirements for patient records and appointment tracking.
- • Maintain licensure and credentials in good standing to practice psychiatry in New Jersey and comply with all contractual obligations as a 1099 contractor.
🎯 Requirements
- • Valid, unrestricted medical license to practice psychiatry in the state of New Jersey
- • Board certification or board eligibility in psychiatry
- • Experience providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management in clinical settings
- • Ability to deliver care via secure video telehealth platforms
- • Commitment to culturally-responsive, patient-centered mental health care
- • Reliable internet connection and private space for conducting telehealth appointments
