📋 Description

• Provide evidence-based psychiatric care through live 60-minute video intake appointments and regular follow-up sessions as a contracted provider with Lyra Clinical Associates.
• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to assess patient needs, diagnose mental health conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Manage medication regimens for patients with mental health disorders, including prescribing, adjusting, and monitoring pharmacological interventions.
• Deliver culturally-responsive care to individuals from diverse backgrounds, ensuring treatment plans account for cultural, social, and experiential factors influencing mental health.
• Collaborate within Lyra’s integrated provider network to refer patients to evidence-based therapy and coaching services, enabling whole-person, whole-family mental health care.
• Utilize Lyra’s AI-powered platform, Lyra Empower, to streamline administrative tasks, access clinical resources, and enhance patient matching and care coordination.
• Operate as an independent contractor with flexibility in scheduling while benefiting from Lyra’s supportive provider platform that reduces burdens such as marketing, billing, and scheduling.
• Engage in ongoing clinical consultation and professional development opportunities provided by Lyra to maintain high standards of clinical effectiveness and patient outcomes.
• Serve a broad patient population with varying mental health needs and abilities, contributing to Lyra’s mission of delivering accessible, high-quality mental health care within one day of request.
• Adhere to evidence-based clinical practices validated by Lyra’s more than 35 peer-reviewed studies and proven outcomes in access, clinical effectiveness, and cost efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with all state licensing and regulatory requirements for prescribing psychiatric medications and providing telehealth services.
• Participate in Lyra’s provider network, which includes both in-person and virtual clinicians across the United States, to ensure seamless continuity of care for patients.
• Focus on patient care without the need for self-promotion, practice management, or administrative overhead, allowing full attention to clinical responsibilities.
• Contribute to Lyra Health’s global impact, supporting over 20 million people through employer partnerships and more than 100 million through health plan and partner relationships.

🎯 Requirements

• Valid, unrestricted medical license to practice psychiatry in the state of Maryland
• Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
• Active DEA registration to prescribe controlled substances
• Experience providing psychiatric evaluations and medication management in clinical settings
• Proficiency in telehealth platforms and ability to deliver care via video appointments
• Commitment to culturally-responsive care and working with diverse patient populations
