  • • Assess security controls to ensure alignment with FedRAMP, NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • • Collaborate with control and service owners to explain compliance requirements and provide actionable guidance for meeting those requirements effectively.
  • • Implement and maintain automated processes for evidence collection and testing to streamline compliance activities and reduce manual effort.
  • • Support monthly continuous monitoring activities and maintain close partnership with vulnerability management teams to ensure ongoing compliance posture.
  • • Prepare and present detailed reports on compliance status, audit findings, and remediation plans to senior management, internal stakeholders, and external auditors.
  • • Track, monitor, and communicate open findings and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) with clarity and urgency.
  • • Stay current with emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory updates—including FedRAMP 20x, CMMC, and ITAR—and recommend proactive risk mitigation strategies.
  • • Respond to emergency directives and data calls from U.S. government agencies such as CISA, ensuring timely and accurate compliance responses.
  • • Contribute to the onboarding of services into the FedRAMP environment by facilitating audits and ensuring all compliance documentation is accurate and complete.
  • • Leverage technical knowledge to assess cloud security and compliance in GovCloud/GCCH environments, particularly on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud platforms.
  • • Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate complex security issues and develop scalable, compliant solutions.
  • • Communicate technical compliance concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, bridging gaps between security teams and business units.
  • • Manage multiple compliance projects and priorities simultaneously with strong project management discipline.
  • • Explore and leverage AI tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy in compliance program execution.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
  • • Minimum of 2 years of experience in security compliance, information security, or a related field with a strong technical background
  • • Knowledge of security compliance frameworks including FedRAMP, ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA
  • • U.S. citizenship or U.S. lawful permanent residency
