- • As an AI Tutor - Pure Math Specialist at xAI Corporation, you will directly contribute to the mission of creating AI systems that understand the universe by providing expert-level mathematical inputs, labels, and annotations that train and refine cutting-edge AI models. Your work ensures the AI learns from high-quality, human-curated pure math problem-solving interactions, making this role essential to advancing the company’s goal of building truth-seeking artificial intelligence.
- • You will use proprietary software to label and annotate complex mathematical problems, support the delivery of high-quality curated datasets, collaborate with technical staff to improve annotation tool design, select and create challenging problems from advanced pure math domains (such as abstract algebra, real/complex analysis, topology, and graph theory), interpret and execute tasks based on technical instructions, and provide detailed solutions and evaluations of model responses to enhance AI reasoning capabilities.

🎯 Requirements
- • Must have either a Master’s or PhD in Mathematics with a specialization in a pure mathematics subdomain (e.g., abstract algebra, real/complex analysis, topology, graph theory) OR a medal in an International Math Olympiad (IMO) or equivalent prestigious math competition.
- • Proficiency in reading and writing in both informal and professional English, with strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational abilities.
- • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex information resources and databases, exercise autonomous judgment with limited data, and show a strong passion for technological innovation and advancement.
