📋 Description
- • Design and implement multi-file coding tasks focused on bug resolution, feature development, refactoring, and test generation for production-grade software systems.
- • Write clear, precise natural-language specifications and reference implementations that accurately define coding challenges and expected outcomes.
- • Develop and extend comprehensive unit and integration test suites using frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing to validate code correctness and robustness.
- • Review peer-generated coding tasks for correctness, clarity, realism, and alignment with production standards, identifying edge cases, ambiguities, and potential failure modes.
- • Ensure strict alignment between task specifications, reference implementations, and expected outputs to maintain high-quality evaluation benchmarks.
- • Navigate and debug large, complex, multi-file codebases to assess code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices.
- • Participate in code reviews and refactoring exercises to evaluate the effectiveness of proposed changes in real-world software environments.
- • Contribute to production migrations by designing realistic scenarios that simulate system upgrades, dependency updates, or architectural transitions.
- • Work independently on a project-based, part-time consultant basis with full control over schedule and workload.
- • Deliver high-quality, production-realistic coding tasks and validation artifacts that serve as evaluation benchmarks for AI training and assessment.
- • Provide structured, actionable feedback on peer submissions to ensure consistency, accuracy, and educational value in task evaluation.
- • Maintain professional written proficiency in English to produce clear, unambiguous technical documentation and feedback.
- • Utilize Python and JavaScript/TypeScript as primary development languages, with working knowledge of Java, C#, or Go to support diverse task design.
- • Operate with own tools and infrastructure; no company-provided equipment or software is provided.
- • May concurrently provide services to other vendors or employers, provided such arrangements do not conflict with project obligations or third-party policies.
- • Engage in remote, asynchronous collaboration with no fixed working hours or team meetings required.
- • Deliver completed projects on a per-project payment basis, with compensation calculated based on estimated completion time and task complexity.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience
- • Advanced professional written proficiency in English
- • Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript
- • Backend or full-stack development experience in production systems
- • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, Go testing)
- • Proven ability to debug and navigate large, multi-file codebases
