📋 Description

• • Own the end-to-end quality strategy for a cloud-native SaaS platform that serves Fortune-1000 customers, ensuring every release meets enterprise-grade reliability, security, and performance standards.
• • Design, build, and continuously evolve a robust automation suite covering functional, regression, API, performance, and scalability tests for microservices running on Microsoft Azure, leveraging Selenium, JUnit, WebDriver, JMeter, and Jenkins.
• • Shift quality left by embedding with product managers and engineers during discovery and design, writing testable acceptance criteria, and spinning up early integration environments that surface defects before a single line of production code is merged.
• • Create and maintain containerized test environments with Docker and Kubernetes, enabling repeatable, on-demand test beds that mirror production configurations and accelerate feedback loops within CI/CD pipelines.
• • Drive API-first testing using Postman, SoapUI, or custom Python/JavaScript scripts to validate REST/JSON and SOAP/XML contracts, guaranteeing seamless interoperability between dozens of loosely coupled services.
• • Establish performance and scalability baselines with JMeter, Gatling, or k6, then run soak, stress, and spike tests against autoscaling clusters to certify that the platform can handle 10× traffic surges without degradation.
• • Mentor and pair with junior QA engineers, conducting code reviews for test automation, sharing best practices in BDD/TDD, and fostering a culture where quality is everyone’s responsibility.
• • Integrate automated quality gates into Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions, ensuring every pull request triggers a full regression suite, security scan, and performance smoke test before it reaches mainline.
• • Research and pilot emerging AI-powered testing tools (e.g., self-healing locators, intelligent test prioritization) to reduce maintenance overhead and increase coverage across rapidly evolving UI components.
• • Collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams to define SLIs/SLOs, instrument observability hooks, and validate incident-response runbooks, turning production telemetry into actionable test scenarios.
• • Champion risk-based testing strategies that balance speed and thoroughness, using impact mapping and failure-mode analysis to focus effort where defects would hurt customers most.
• • Present quality dashboards and release-readiness reports to stakeholders across Mexico, the U.S., and EMEA, translating technical metrics into clear go/no-go recommendations for monthly SaaS releases.
• • Contribute to the company’s open-source testing libraries, blog about advanced QA techniques, and speak at virtual meetups to build ReHire Solutions’ reputation as a thought leader in cloud quality engineering.
