- • As a QA Automation Engineer I at Juniper Square, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and user experience of a platform that digitizes private markets — including commercial real estate, private equity, and venture capital — making these vital financial ecosystems more accessible, transparent, and efficient through technology.
- • You will collaborate directly with product and engineering teams to shape testing strategy, advocate for end-user quality, and drive innovation in AI-augmented QA practices that reduce manual effort and increase test coverage across complex web applications.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include reviewing functional and technical specifications to provide early feedback using AI-assisted analysis, identifying edge cases and logic gaps before development begins.
- • You will partner with developers to identify high-value test cases for automation and leverage AI-powered IDEs like Cursor or Augment to rapidly prototype and scaffold test suites, accelerating delivery without sacrificing quality.
- • You will design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases against frontend and backend systems, maintaining and extending test automation frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, Locust) by applying LLMs for code refactoring, flaky test reduction, and script optimization.
- • You will contribute to team best practices by promoting ethical and effective use of AI in QA workflows, sharing insights on test strategy, and mentoring peers on modern testing approaches.
- • You will generate automated test result reports, highlight quality risks, and use AI tools to assist in root cause analysis and log interpretation when troubleshooting bugs, ensuring swift resolution.
- • You will act as an automation advocate, recommending ways to replace manual testing with intelligent, AI-driven test generation and scalable automation solutions that align with CI/CD pipelines.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
- • 1-3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with strong expertise in testing web applications
- • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python and hands-on experience building test automation frameworks using Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools
