Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Join WA.Technology as a pivotal QA Automation Engineer, a role where you will be instrumental in upholding the superior quality and unwavering reliability of our cutting-edge iGaming software solutions. This position offers a unique opportunity to blend meticulous manual testing with sophisticated automated testing, dedicating approximately 50% of your time to each discipline. You will be an integral part of a dynamic, collaborative environment, working hand-in-hand with our talented development teams and fellow QA professionals to not only execute but also to proactively design, implement, and continuously refine our testing methodologies and processes.
  • • As a key contributor, you will engage deeply with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other QA engineers, to gain a comprehensive understanding of both the business objectives and the intricate technical requirements of our platform. This collaborative effort is crucial for ensuring that our test strategies provide exhaustive coverage across all facets of our software, from core functionalities to performance and security aspects.
  • • Your responsibilities will extend to the in-depth analysis of functional and non-functional requirements. Based on this analysis, you will be tasked with designing, developing, and executing a robust suite of both manual and automated test cases. This includes identifying edge cases, potential failure points, and areas where user experience might be compromised, translating these into actionable test scenarios.
  • • A significant part of your role will involve the development, maintenance, and enhancement of our automated test frameworks and scripts. You will leverage your expertise to build scalable, efficient, and maintainable automation solutions that can adapt to the evolving nature of our platform. This includes selecting appropriate tools and technologies, writing clean and well-documented code, and ensuring the automation suite remains a reliable asset.
  • • You will be responsible for the execution and thorough analysis of automated test suites. This involves not just running the tests but also meticulously examining the results, identifying defects with precision, and providing clear, concise reports. Crucially, you will also be expected to proactively suggest and implement improvements to our testing processes, aiming for greater efficiency, accuracy, and coverage.
  • • While automation is a key focus, you will also perform manual testing for complex scenarios, intricate workflows, or areas where automation may not be technically feasible or cost-effective. This hands-on manual testing ensures that no aspect of the user experience is overlooked and that subtle issues are caught.
  • • Meticulous documentation is a cornerstone of effective QA. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive test plans, detailed test cases, and insightful test reports. This documentation serves as a vital reference for the team, aids in knowledge transfer, and supports regulatory compliance.
  • • You will act as a strong advocate for QA best practices within the team and the wider organization. This includes promoting a culture of quality, sharing knowledge, and actively contributing to the continuous improvement of our overall QA processes and strategies.
  • • A critical aspect of your role will be to assist in the root cause analysis of identified defects. You will collaborate closely with developers, providing them with the necessary information and insights to effectively debug and resolve issues, thereby accelerating the development lifecycle.
  • • Furthermore, you will play a key role in supporting the ongoing transition from manual to automated testing. This involves mentoring junior team members, sharing your expertise in automation, and actively promoting the adoption and benefits of automation across the QA team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill development.
  • • By excelling in this role, you will directly contribute to the delivery of high-quality, robust, and user-friendly iGaming solutions that power the success of our global clients. Your work will ensure that WA.Technology remains at the forefront of the industry, known for its reliability and innovation.

  • • Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in automation, such as JavaScript, Python, or Java.
  • • Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
