- • Own and extend automated test coverage for the Kitchen Display System (KDS), a business-critical platform used in restaurant operations.
- • Work within an established automation framework to maintain and enhance regression test pipelines for continuous delivery.
- • Improve test reliability and reduce flakiness by identifying root causes of test failures and implementing robust fixes.
- • Partner closely with software engineers to integrate automated testing into the development lifecycle and ensure quality is built in from the start.
- • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using modern tools and practices aligned with AI-assisted engineering workflows.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, prioritize test automation efforts, and align on quality goals.
- • Monitor test execution results, analyze failure trends, and provide actionable insights to improve product stability and release confidence.
- • Contribute to the evolution of the QA automation strategy by evaluating new tools, frameworks, and techniques to increase efficiency and coverage.
- • Ensure automated tests accurately reflect business requirements and user workflows in real-world restaurant environments.
- • Participate in code reviews for test automation code to maintain high standards of quality, readability, and maintainability.
- • Document test automation processes, configurations, and best practices to enable knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members.
- • Support rapid iteration cycles by enabling fast feedback loops between development and QA through reliable, automated testing.
- • Maintain a strong focus on scalability, performance, and edge-case coverage in automated tests for high-volume restaurant operations.
- • Stay current with industry trends in QA automation, AI-assisted testing, and enterprise software quality practices.
- • Advocate for quality culture by promoting automation-first principles across the engineering team.
- • Respond to production issues by quickly diagnosing whether they stem from code defects or test gaps, and act to prevent recurrence.
- • Work in a fast-moving, high-impact team where quality, automation, and continuous improvement are core to software delivery.
