QA Automation Lead (Performance Testing) - India

📋 Description

• • As a QA Automation Lead for Performance Testing at Juniper Square, you will define the performance engineering strategy to ensure systems can handle hyper-growth and peak traffic through proactive modeling, automated gating, and deep architectural analysis.
• • Day to day, you will review functional and non-functional requirements and technical design documents to identify performance risks early; design, develop, and execute performance, load, and stress tests for web and backend systems; use AI to analyze production traffic patterns and generate representative test scripts in Locust or JMeter; build and maintain Python-based performance test scripts primarily using Locust; collaborate with development, QA, DevOps, and SRE teams to define benchmarks, SLAs, and acceptance criteria; analyze test results to pinpoint bottlenecks in code, APIs, databases, infrastructure, or third-party dependencies; produce actionable performance reports with trends, risks, and optimization recommendations; integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines; monitor application performance during releases; contribute to capacity planning and scalability discussions; and lead performance engineering best practices to shift testing left in the SDLC.
