- • Develop and maintain automated test suites for web applications, including integration points with REST and GraphQL APIs, ensuring comprehensive coverage and reliability across Bonterra’s product ecosystem.
- • Design and implement performance and load tests using industry-standard tools to validate system behavior under expected user loads and performance benchmarks.
- • Collaborate with software engineers and stakeholders to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects, fostering a collaborative environment focused on rapid, high-quality delivery.
- • Create and update functional, regression, smoke, and usability test cases for both new and existing features, aligning testing efforts with product roadmap priorities.
- • Own the QA strategy by contributing to the development and refinement of testing processes, best practices, and documentation to improve overall product quality and efficiency.
- • Leverage AI-driven tools and cloud-first solutions to streamline test development, reduce manual effort, and enhance test automation scalability across the engineering team.
- • Ensure all applications comply with web accessibility standards, including Section 508 compliance, to support equitable access for all users, particularly nonprofit and public sector clients.
- • Work within Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban) to participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups, ensuring QA is integrated throughout the development lifecycle.
- • Utilize Git for version control and collaborate within CI/CD pipelines to automate testing workflows and maintain code quality across deployments.
- • Gain deep familiarity with Bonterra’s end-to-end software solutions serving over 20,000 customers, including nonprofits and Fortune 100 companies, to tailor testing approaches to real-world user needs.
- • Contribute to the enhancement of training and support materials by identifying gaps in product functionality and communicating testing insights to cross-functional teams.
- • Apply proficiency in cloud technologies, preferably AWS, to test and validate cloud-hosted applications and infrastructure dependencies.
- • Maintain a strong focus on end-user experience, ensuring that features delivered meet the mission-critical needs of social good organizations aiming to increase community impact.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred, with a minimum of 3 years of experience testing web applications
- • Proficiency in automated testing frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, and K6
- • Strong understanding of QA methodologies including smoke, regression, functional, and usability testing
- • Experience testing GUIs, REST APIs, and GraphQL APIs
- • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) and Git version control
- • Proficiency in web accessibility standards, including Section 508 compliance
