Your work directly contributes to maintaining the platform’s reliability, transparency, and efficiency—core pillars of Hiive’s mission to bring standardization to an opaque asset class.

Your role is critical in upholding Hiive’s reputation for excellence in a fast-growing, profitable, and well-capitalized fintech startup backed by leading U.S. investors.

- • Hiive’s engineering team is a small, dynamic, and high-performance group based in Vancouver’s downtown HQ, fostering an entrepreneurial culture where innovation, ownership, and collaboration are valued. The team operates with agility and purpose, continuously improving processes while maintaining high standards for code quality and user experience.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in modern QA automation, AI-augmented testing methodologies, and end-to-end testing frameworks like Playwright. You will gain hands-on experience influencing product quality at scale, contributing to a profitable startup’s growth trajectory, and developing leadership potential through mentoring and process improvement initiatives—positioning you for advancement into senior QA or management roles within the organization.

- • Experience using AI tools to enhance QA workflows, including test generation, debugging, and test analysis.
- • Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- • Ability to create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, cases, and reports.

- • $20-per-day commuter benefit for each day worked at the Vancouver office.
- • Engaging social calendar including bi-weekly catered lunches, bi-weekly “Friday bar,” team workouts, annual summer and holiday parties, two all-team retreats yearly, semi-annual team-building events, and Hiive Women’s Network events.
