📋 Description

• Perform manual testing for mobile applications (iOS and Android) and web applications to ensure product quality and functionality.
• Design, create, and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and comprehensive test plans based on product requirements.
• Identify, log, track, and verify software defects throughout the entire testing lifecycle using appropriate bug tracking tools.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other cross-functional stakeholders to clarify requirements and align on quality expectations.
• Contribute to automation testing efforts using Appium, including writing, maintaining, and updating automation scripts for mobile and web platforms.
• Execute regression, functional, and end-to-end testing cycles to validate system behavior across multiple environments and configurations.
• Ensure timely completion of all testing activities in alignment with project timelines and sprint deliverables.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and integrate testing activities into iterative development cycles.
• Utilize CI/CD tools to support automated testing integration within the software delivery pipeline.
• Perform basic API testing using tools such as Postman or similar platforms to validate backend services and integrations.
• Apply understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and defect lifecycle management to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Maintain clear and concise documentation of test results, defect reports, and test execution summaries for audit and review purposes.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose root causes of issues and propose effective resolutions.
• Communicate testing status, risks, and blockers effectively to technical and non-technical team members.
• Work in a team-oriented environment that emphasizes collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

🎯 Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in QA with hands-on manual and basic automation testing
• Hands-on experience testing mobile applications (iOS and Android) and web applications
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of automation tools, specifically Appium
• Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA
• Basic knowledge of programming, with Java preferred for Appium automation
• Understanding of testing methodologies, STLC, and defect lifecycle
