📋 Description

• As a QA Engineer at Sweed AB, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and quality of an enterprise-grade cannabis retail platform that combines POS, eCommerce, Marketing, Analytics, and Inventory Management into a single solution, directly impacting the operational efficiency and trust of cannabis retailers worldwide.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities will include collaborating with product managers, designers, and developers to understand requirements; performing manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing across web, desktop, and mobile platforms; documenting and tracking defects; contributing to incident management; and continuously improving QA processes by proposing best practices and tools.
• You will join a globally distributed development team of over 200 people, organized into cross-functional product teams of 8–12 members, each led by a Team Lead and Product Owner, with close alignment to USA-based leadership including the CEO, account managers, and customer success team to ensure product development meets business and user needs.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in end-to-end testing across complex software ecosystems, gain experience in regulated industries like cannabis retail, strengthen your analytical and communication skills in a fast-paced remote environment, and contribute to shaping QA best practices that scale with a growing global product.

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience (5+ years) as a QA Engineer or in a similar role, with a focus on manual testing of complex software products.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes, with hands-on experience in manual testing.
• Experience in Windows desktop application testing is essential.
• Experience in backend, frontend, and end-to-end (e2e) testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and identify risks and areas for improvement.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective work in cross-functional team environments.
