📋 Description

• Design, develop, and execute test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of Coins.ph’s mobile and web applications, including cryptocurrency trading, wallet functionality, and financial services features.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and UX designers to understand feature requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans and scenarios.
• Perform manual and automated testing across iOS and Android platforms to identify bugs, usability issues, and performance bottlenecks before release.
• Utilize industry-standard testing tools and frameworks to automate regression, smoke, and end-to-end test suites, improving test coverage and reducing manual effort.
• Document and track defects using bug tracking systems, ensuring clear reproduction steps, severity levels, and prioritization for engineering teams.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to contribute to agile development cycles and maintain alignment with release timelines.
• Validate compliance with regulatory requirements set by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) for virtual currency and electronic money issuer operations.
• Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent user experience across a wide range of devices and network conditions.
• Monitor application performance under load and stress conditions to identify scalability issues and recommend optimizations.
• Review code changes and technical specifications to proactively identify potential quality risks before implementation.
• Maintain up-to-date test documentation, including test scripts, checklists, and automation logs, to support knowledge sharing and onboarding.
• Work closely with customer support teams to reproduce and resolve reported issues from end users, ensuring high customer satisfaction and product reliability.
• Stay current with emerging QA methodologies, testing tools, and cryptocurrency industry trends to continuously improve testing processes.
• Ensure all testing activities align with Coins.ph’s commitment to security, regulatory compliance, and user trust as the most established crypto brand in the Philippines.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a QA Engineer in mobile or fintech applications
• Proven experience with manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Appium, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and sprint-based development cycles
• Strong understanding of mobile platforms (iOS and Android) and cross-platform testing
• Experience testing cryptocurrency, digital wallet, or financial services applications
