• We are seeking a talented and motivated QA Engineer to become an integral part of our Hippo+ and Salesforce teams. In this role, you will contribute to the development of our cutting-edge warranty insurance product, designed to provide customers with essential additional coverage for household equipment repairs and unexpected failures. Your primary focus will be on ensuring a seamless and reliable customer experience from initial engagement through to claim resolution.
• You will be instrumental in supporting the technology that underpins our product, including our customer-facing website, the entire selling journey, user account management, and the critical claims processing systems. Your responsibilities will encompass ensuring that every product update and new feature undergoes rigorous testing before deployment, guaranteeing that our customers can depend on our services during their times of need.
• This position offers a unique opportunity to gain comprehensive, end-to-end testing experience within a live product environment. You will be involved in testing intricate functionalities and ensuring smooth integrations across various components of the broader Hippo ecosystem, providing valuable exposure to complex system interdependencies.
• As a QA Engineer, you will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, identify potential issues, and implement effective testing strategies. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to quality will be crucial in maintaining the high standards expected of our InsurTech products.
• You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of our applications. This includes both manual and, where applicable, automated testing approaches to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Proactively identify, document, and track bugs and defects, working closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution and verification of fixes. Your ability to communicate technical issues clearly and concisely will be vital in this process.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and efficient workflow.
• Contribute to the enhancement of our testing methodologies and processes, staying abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies in quality assurance.
• You will play a key role in ensuring the stability and scalability of our platform, particularly as we continue to grow and expand our product offerings. Your testing efforts will directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall success of our warranty insurance product.
