• • In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our D365 FO applications. You will be responsible for the end-to-end testing lifecycle, from understanding intricate business requirements to executing comprehensive test plans. Your primary focus will be on designing, documenting, and executing detailed test cases that align with functional and business specifications. This involves performing a variety of testing types, including rigorous functional testing to verify individual components, integration testing to ensure seamless data flow between modules, comprehensive regression testing to confirm that new changes haven't introduced unintended side effects, and end-to-end testing to validate complete business processes within the D365 FO environment.
• • You will play a crucial part in supporting our Agile/Scrum development process. This includes actively participating in sprint testing activities, meticulously validating user stories against their defined acceptance criteria, and ensuring that delivered functionality meets the expected standards. Furthermore, you will assist in the planning and execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT), collaborating closely with business stakeholders to gather feedback and confirm that the system meets their needs. A key responsibility will be the meticulous logging, tracking, and validation of defects. This requires providing clear, concise reproduction steps, attaching supporting evidence, and working collaboratively with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• • Your contribution will extend to reviewing test cases created by yourself and peers, ensuring adequate test coverage and maintaining traceability back to the original requirements. While this role primarily involves manual test execution, you will also support automation efforts under the guidance of senior QA members, contributing to the development and maintenance of our automated test suites. Adherence to Agile testing best practices within our Scrum teams is paramount, and you will actively participate in all sprint ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives. Effective communication is vital; you will be expected to actively communicate testing progress, identify potential risks, and report any blockers to the team, fostering a transparent and collaborative environment.
