This is a pivotal role where you will not just be executing test cases, but actively shaping the quality assurance strategy and culture for a company dedicated to transforming healthcare.
- • You will be instrumental in building and maintaining robust automated testing frameworks, with a strong emphasis on utilizing Playwright for front-end automation. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that our platform is not only functional and reliable but also delivers an exceptional user experience for both healthcare providers and patients.
- • This role demands a unique blend of technical prowess and a forward-thinking mindset. We are an AI-native company, meaning we leverage AI to enhance our development processes and build intelligent solutions. You will be expected to embrace and utilize AI tools to maximize your productivity and to tackle the complexities of testing AI-driven features.
- • Your responsibilities will extend beyond traditional QA tasks. You will have significant agency to define and implement QA best practices, establish new standards, and contribute to the overall technical direction of our testing initiatives. This is an opportunity to build a QA function from the ground up within a dynamic and innovative environment.
- • You will be the gatekeeper of quality, possessing the authority and responsibility to ensure that our products meet the highest standards before they are released to market. This requires a deep understanding of the product lifecycle, a keen eye for detail, and the courage to advocate for quality, even when faced with aggressive timelines.

- • Looking ahead, you will have the exciting opportunity to work with emerging technologies such as Playwright MCP and Agents, contributing to the development and testing of next-generation AI features as they are brought into production.
- • Beyond automation, you will also be expected to perform thorough manual and exploratory testing. This involves understanding when to leverage automated scripts and when to apply critical human judgment and intuition to uncover subtle issues.
- • You will collaborate closely with our engineering and product teams, providing valuable feedback throughout the development cycle. Your insights will directly influence product decisions and help shape the user experience.
- • The impact of your work is significant. By ensuring the quality of our AI-powered platform, you are directly contributing to simplifying complex healthcare workflows, improving care coordination, and removing friction from the patient journey.
- • You will be joining a company that is actively pioneering solutions to shape the future of healthcare. This is a chance to be part of a mission-driven organization that values innovation, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence.
- • We foster a culture that encourages curiosity, continuous learning, and the pursuit of groundbreaking ideas. You will be part of a supportive and inspiring work environment where your passion and expertise are valued and amplified.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to escape legacy debt and build new, scalable testing frameworks for a rapidly evolving platform. You will be working with modern technologies and contributing to a product that is designed for speed and efficiency.
- • As an early member of our team, you will have the chance to take a significant equity stake in the company, aligning your success with the growth and achievements of Foundation Health.
- • We believe in the power of in-person collaboration. While we offer flexibility, we encourage engineers to come into our Manchester City Centre office for key collaborative sessions, such as whiteboarding, brainstorming, and team building, fostering a strong sense of community and shared purpose.
