- • As a QA Lead at RealNetworks, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of web and mobile applications that power a national real estate brokerage operating across the U.S., Canada, and D.C., directly contributing to the company’s mission of revolutionizing the home-buying and selling process through technology.
- • You will lead test planning, execution, and reporting for both web and mobile platforms, driving quality standards and enabling smooth product releases by identifying defects early in the development cycle and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align testing with project goals.
- • The QA team at Real operates within a fast-growing, technology-driven R&D environment focused on innovation in residential real estate, where your leadership will help maintain high-quality releases in a remote-first, India-based role requiring availability from 2 PM to 11 PM IST.
- • You will lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, fostering a collaborative culture while improving testing efficiency through process optimization, framework enhancements, and adoption of modern tools like Cypress, Playwright, Postman, and Bugsnag.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in end-to-end QA lifecycle management, gain hands-on experience with API and mobile testing across Android and iOS, and strengthen your leadership abilities by guiding test strategy, mentoring junior engineers, and influencing quality culture across product teams.
- • You will also have the opportunity to apply your skills in a meaningful domain—real estate technology—where your work directly impacts agent productivity and customer experience, while growing your proficiency in Agile/Scrum environments and test automation at scale.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- • 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance with hands-on testing in both manual and automated environments
- • Proven experience leading or mentoring QA teams in a software development setting
- • Proficiency with automation tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or similar
- • Hands-on experience with mobile testing on both Android and iOS platforms
- • Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, Swagger, or equivalent
