📋 Description

• • As a QA Lead at Fulfillment IQ (FIQ), you will be instrumental in shaping the quality assurance strategy for our cutting-edge logistics technology solutions. This is a hybrid role, blending hands-on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, reporting directly to the Head of IT & Engineering.
• • You will be responsible for overseeing a talented team of 4-5 Automation Engineers, guiding their technical development, and ensuring the highest standards of quality across our enterprise applications. Your leadership will directly impact the reliability and performance of solutions that transform the future of logistics for brands, retailers, and 3PLs.
• • Your primary focus will be on driving quality strategies and championing automation efforts. This involves performing end-to-end testing across various phases, including Functional Unit Testing (FUT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• • A core part of your role will be to build, enhance, and maintain robust automation suites, with a strong emphasis on Playwright and Python. You will lead validation testing and regression automation for critical business workflows, ensuring seamless operation and data integrity.
• • You will play a crucial role in validating EDI transactions and business-critical reports, ensuring data accuracy across complex, integrated systems. This requires a deep understanding of data flows and the ability to translate technical specifications into comprehensive test scenarios, detailed test cases, and efficient automation scripts.
• • Continuous improvement will be a key theme, as you will be expected to drive enhancements in our automation frameworks, refine QA processes, and explore new tooling to optimize our testing capabilities.
• • On the leadership front, you will mentor and manage your QA Automation Engineers, fostering their growth through regular check-ins, constructive code reviews, and targeted skill-building sessions. Your guidance will be essential in developing a high-performing team.
• • You will be responsible for defining and enforcing QA best practices, establishing clear automation standards, and implementing coding guidelines across the team to ensure consistency and quality.
• • Overseeing task allocation, ensuring balanced workloads, and guaranteeing timely delivery across multiple parallel projects will be critical to your success. You will act as a central point of coordination for the QA team's efforts.
• • Collaboration is key in this role. You will partner closely with engineering leads, product stakeholders, and project managers to shape the quality roadmap, conduct thorough risk assessments, and define effective release strategies. Your input will be vital in ensuring successful product launches.
• • You will provide leadership on test planning, developing comprehensive test strategies, providing accurate estimations, and defining key quality metrics for all releases.
• • Ensuring the team consistently maintains high standards of test coverage, automation stability, and proactive defect prevention will be a primary objective.
• • You will represent the QA function in cross-functional discussions, participate actively in release readiness reviews, and provide clear, concise updates to business and customer stakeholders.
• • This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring that quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle.
