• • As the QA Lead for the Platform at JustPlay, you will be instrumental in shaping and scaling the quality assurance strategy for our core application experience. This platform is the bedrock upon which all our games, live operations, and player reward systems are built. Your leadership will ensure that this critical foundation operates with unparalleled seamlessness, reliability, and a consistently exceptional user experience across a multitude of devices, diverse geographical regions, and continuous release cycles. You will be the custodian of quality, setting the benchmark for excellence that permeates every aspect of our platform.
• • You will take full ownership of the entire Quality Assurance lifecycle for JustPlay's app and platform features. This encompasses everything from the initial stages of test planning and meticulous test execution to comprehensive reporting and rigorous defect management. Your proactive involvement will ensure that quality is not an afterthought but an integral part of the development process from inception.
• • A key aspect of your role will be to foster deep and collaborative partnerships with our development, design, and product management teams. By embedding QA best practices and principles early and consistently within the release cycle, you will champion a culture of quality that prevents issues before they arise, rather than just detecting them.
• • You will be responsible for the design, development, and ongoing maintenance of comprehensive test plans and robust automated test suites. These will cover all critical user flows and functionalities, including but not limited to login processes, payment gateways, live event management, notification systems, and user account management, ensuring the integrity and performance of each.
• • Leading, mentoring, and scaling the QA team will be a primary focus. This involves establishing clear, efficient, and scalable QA processes, defining and enforcing high code quality standards for test automation, and architecting effective testing frameworks that can adapt to our growing needs. Your leadership will empower the team to achieve new heights in quality assurance.
• • You will be at the forefront of implementing advanced automation and regression testing strategies. This will involve leveraging cutting-edge tools, with a strong preference for Maestro, but also encompassing expertise in frameworks such as Espresso for Android, XCTest for iOS, or Appium for cross-platform testing. Your efforts will significantly enhance our testing efficiency and coverage.
• • A crucial element of your strategy will be the implementation of contract testing, utilizing tools like Pact, to rigorously validate the integrations between our backend services and external dependencies. This ensures that all components communicate effectively and reliably, maintaining system integrity.
• • You will apply rigorous performance and reliability testing methodologies across all mobile platforms. The goal is to guarantee a consistently smooth, responsive, and stable user experience, even under heavy load or challenging network conditions.
• • Driving innovation within the QA domain will be encouraged. This includes exploring and implementing AI-driven testing techniques and predictive analytics to proactively identify potential risks, anticipate failure points, and significantly reduce manual testing efforts, allowing the team to focus on more complex and strategic quality initiatives.
