  • • As the QA Manager at Foundation Health, you will be instrumental in shaping and safeguarding the quality of our revolutionary AI-powered digital pharmacy platform. This is a pivotal leadership role where you will own the end-to-end quality strategy, ensuring that our platform not only meets but exceeds the highest standards of reliability, performance, and user experience. You will be the driving force behind our quality assurance efforts, building and nurturing a high-performing QA team that is essential for our ambitious growth and scaling objectives.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to define and continuously evolve the QA strategy, establishing robust standards, selecting appropriate tooling, and refining our overall approach to quality assurance. This involves a deep understanding of the entire software development lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering through to final release readiness. You will be the ultimate arbiter of quality, ensuring that every aspect of our platform is rigorously tested and validated.
  • • A critical component of this role is the oversight and leadership of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with our clients. You will be responsible for defining the scope of UAT, meticulously planning and executing test cycles, and managing the sign-off process. This requires exceptional communication and collaboration skills, as you will be the primary point of contact for clients regarding testing and quality, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
  • • You will lead, mentor, and develop the QA team, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous improvement, and professional growth. This includes strategic workforce planning, ensuring we have the right talent and capacity in place to support our expanding operations. Your leadership will empower the team to tackle complex challenges and deliver outstanding results.
  • • Close partnership with our Engineering, Product Management, and Client Success teams is paramount. You will work collaboratively to identify and mitigate risks, build confidence in our releases, and ensure a seamless integration of quality considerations into every stage of development.   • • You will be responsible for overseeing QA planning and prioritization across all releases and major initiatives. This involves making informed decisions about resource allocation, testing methodologies, and risk-based approaches to ensure efficient and effective quality assurance.
  • • A significant part of your role will be guiding the optimal balance between manual testing, exploratory testing, and automated testing strategies. You will champion the adoption of best practices and innovative approaches to testing, ensuring comprehensive coverage and efficiency.
  • • Maintaining clear visibility of the platform's quality health is essential. You will establish and maintain comprehensive reporting mechanisms, clearly communicating quality metrics, identified risks, and release readiness status to senior stakeholders. Your ability to translate technical quality insights into business-relevant information will be crucial.
  • • While leading the team, you will also be prepared to step into hands-on testing or review activities when and where it can add the most value, demonstrating a commitment to quality at all levels and ensuring practical, pragmatic decision-making.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and software testing, with a significant portion in senior or leadership roles.
  • • Proven track record of owning end-to-end quality strategy and execution within a product-led engineering organization.
  • • Demonstrated experience with QA for enterprise-level products, understanding the complexities and demands of such systems.
  • • Experience leading client-facing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and managing release sign-off processes.
  • • Strong understanding of testing methodologies for web applications and APIs, including functional, performance, and security testing.
  • • Experience defining and implementing QA standards, processes, team structures, and best practices.
  • • Confident and effective communicator, capable of articulating quality risks and release readiness to senior stakeholders.
