📋 Description

• As a QA Manager at Beach Bum, Inc., you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Backgammon: Lord of the Board, one of the company’s flagship casual online games, by leading testing efforts that directly impact user experience and product stability.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities will include creating and executing test cases and test scenarios across web and mobile platforms, documenting and tracking defects in Jira, analyzing business requirements to inform testing strategies, and collaborating closely with Engineering, Product, and customer-facing teams to design and implement effective testing solutions.
• You will be part of a passionate gaming team at Beach Bum, Inc., a company known for reinventing classic games for the casual online market, where innovation, collaboration, and a player-first mindset drive product development.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in end-to-end testing methodologies, gain hands-on experience with cross-platform test execution (functional, GUI, API, DB, E2E), and grow your leadership and communication skills by influencing quality practices across multidisciplinary teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Creating and running tests and use case scenarios to ensure the quality of the system and its internal/external interface
• Test application on the web and mobile platforms (cross-browser)
• Document and maintain identified defects in Jira
• Analyze and evaluate business requirements (clear and fully described)
• Work closely with Engineering, Product and customer-facing teams on designing and implementing testing solutions
• Run various testing types: Functional, GUI, E2E, API, DB. Etc
• 1.5 years of experience with client and web/mobile testing - advantage
• Experience in writing QA documents, including test plans, test cases, and bug reports (STP/STD)
• Strong familiarity with JIRA and Confluence
• Experience with SQL and ability to write simple to medium queries
• Someone with quick absorption and attention to small details
• Excellent English - written and spoken
