đź“‹ Description
- • Solace Corporation is on a mission to fundamentally transform the U.S. healthcare system, which is notoriously complex and difficult for the average American to navigate. With 88% of adults lacking the necessary health literacy, Solace provides a vital service by connecting patients with expert advocates and empowering them with the tools to make informed decisions, ultimately leading to better health outcomes. As a rapidly growing Series C startup, founded in 2022 and backed by prominent venture capital firms including Inspired Capital, Craft Ventures, Torch Capital, Menlo Ventures, Signalfire, and IVP, we are building a lean, mission-driven team dedicated to this ambitious goal.
- • We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented QA Specialist to join our team and play a pivotal role in upholding the quality, consistency, and reliability of our operational workflows. This position is central to ensuring that all our processes, patient communications, and delivered outputs meet Solace’s stringent standards for accuracy, clarity, and overall excellence. You will be instrumental in maintaining the high bar of service that our patients expect and deserve.
- • Reporting directly to the QA Manager, your responsibilities will encompass conducting thorough quality reviews, identifying areas for process enhancement, and actively contributing to strengthening how our diverse teams deliver exceptional work at scale. This is a non-exempt position, offering a dynamic and impactful opportunity within a fast-paced environment.
- • Your day-to-day activities will involve conducting regular, comprehensive quality audits across a variety of operational touchpoints. This includes meticulously reviewing patient calls, digital messages, and supporting documentation to ensure adherence to Solace’s established protocols and best practices. You will be tasked with evaluating the accuracy and completeness of information provided, ensuring that our advocates are consistently delivering correct and helpful guidance.
- • A key aspect of this role is providing clear, constructive, and actionable feedback to individual team members and the broader operational teams. This feedback loop is critical for fostering a culture of continuous improvement and driving quality enhancements across the board. You will help identify trends, pinpoint systemic gaps, and flag emerging issues, sharing these valuable insights with the QA Manager to inform strategic decisions and process adjustments.
- • You will also be responsible for verifying that every QA review conducted adheres strictly to the appropriate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This involves confirming that all required steps and instructions within the review process itself have been completed accurately and thoroughly, ensuring the integrity of our quality assurance framework.
- • Upholding Solace’s distinct brand voice, core values, and unwavering commitment to providing exceptional patient service is paramount. Every interaction and piece of documentation reviewed should reflect our dedication to empathy, clarity, and patient empowerment. You will be a guardian of our brand promise, ensuring consistency in every aspect of our operations.
- • Furthermore, you will actively support initiatives aimed at strengthening overall team performance, enhancing employee engagement, and clarifying expectations for all team members. Your work will directly contribute to creating a more efficient, effective, and supportive work environment, enabling our teams to perform at their best.
- • This role requires a proactive mindset, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and sound judgment. You will need to be comfortable navigating the complexities of a fast-moving, high-growth startup environment, collaborating effectively with various cross-functional teams. A deep-seated belief in the potential of healthcare to be better, coupled with a genuine desire to contribute to building that future, is essential for success in this role. You are not just joining a company; you are joining a movement to redefine healthcare for millions of Americans.
🎯 Requirements

- • Comfort working cross-functionally in a fast-moving, high-growth startup environment.
- • A proactive mindset with the ability to operate with autonomy and sound judgment.
- • A deep belief in the potential of healthcare and a desire to contribute to its improvement.
🏖️ Benefits

- • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.
